The VMI Hybrid combines the traditional polishing approach with patented heat technology, resulting in repairs that are very quick, very quiet, low cost, clean – and most important of all, effective.
The VMI Hybrid sits in our range as a excellent all-rounder, capable of fixing light, medium and heavy scratches and is also the best we sell for Blu-ray discs.
Discs come out virtually clean and dry - needing just a quick spray and wipe using the provided cloth and spray pack.
The machine features an electronic chip which ensures every disc is repaired to a consistently high standard and it will tell you when you need to change supplies.

Save money without losing quality...
We previously offered reconditioned Hybrid 2 machines in Grades A, B and C, based on each machine’s age and cosmetic condition. To keep things simple, and because Grade A machines are increasingly rare, we have streamlined our range and now simply offer a reconditioned Hybrid 2.
In practice, our reconditioned machines will typically be a mix of what we previously classed as Grade B and Grade C. They are fully serviced, restored and tested to ensure they are in excellent working order, and are backed by a 6-month warranty for peace of mind.
As previously owned machines, they may show some cosmetic signs of use, such as light scratches on the casing or traces of dried polish. These do not affect performance, and the machine will deliver the same high standard of disc repair as a new unit.
A reconditioned Hybrid 2 is a great way to save money while still getting a fully tested and supported machine.
The Condition
Our reconditioned Hybrid 2 machines are fast-moving stock, so we’re not always able to photograph every individual machine before it is sold. The photos below are therefore representative examples, giving you an idea of the standard and condition you can expect from a reconditioned unit.

The Consumables
500 Minute Consumable Pack
Each pack includes everything you need for 500 minutes of repair time and is designed to ensure the last repair is as good as the first. A built-in Smart Chip tracks consumable usage and displays alerts on the machine when it’s time to replenish supplies.
Packs are priced at £70, with quantity discounts available. As a guide, each pack provides approximately:
- 500–1,000 light repairs
- 250 medium repairs
- 125 heavy repairs
