VMI Hybrid and Quicksand Turntable Assembly

The Turntable Assembly (also known as ‘Platen’) grips the disc and ensures it stays in place during repair. How often this part needs replacing will depend on following correct cleaning and maintenance procedures. You’ll know it’s time to change when discs start to come out with marks on the top side of the disc. If you heavily rely on your machine we recommend keeping one spare. This part is classed as semi-durable and is not covered by warranty.
